Chairman's Message

VPM’s TMC Law College has completed 53 years since its inception. The flagship LL B programme of the college is a three-year full-time Professional Degree Programme affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by BCI. We have a 240-strength aided LL B and a strength of 60 unaided LL B. LL M programme in Constitutional and Administrative law group and Business law group is also offered since 2024. At VPM’s TMC Law College, we strive to create an environment conducive for legal studies and encourage students to be a part of well-maintained and well-staffed academics in the Thane College Campus.

In all spheres - academic rigour and excellence, student activities, seminars, workshops, and research publications the college is strengthened to be at its best. The faculty and staff our law are working under the committed leadership of the Principal who brings her vast experience of over 25years to the table. Along with the other trustees of VPM, I as Chairman, am glad over the standing of our law college and pledge to offer the best of infrastructure, quality education and workplace that will further promote excellence. The dedicated website of VPM’s TMC Law College will enable all stakeholders from anywhere to keep in touch with latest happenings at the institute and it will certainly be a milestone in our endeavours to utilize state-of-the-art technology, to facilitate deployment of modern means, methods and media for promoting the college in all its endeavour in the knowledge era. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Honble Justice Shri Abhay S. Oka for graciously consenting to be the Emeritus Jurist of our college. Lordship’s guidance means a lot for our future.

I hope that the college will continue to exceed the increasing expectations of society, from all stakeholders of education in general and legal education in particular. “उत्तिष्ठते जाग्रते प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत। क्षुरस्य धारा निशिता दुरत्यया दुर्गमपथा।।” Let us resolve to serve the cause of education with greater vigour and rigour than ever before.
